Stylistic Editing

Whether what you've written is intended to sell, inform, educate, or entertain, to be effective, it must be easy to understand and enjoyable to read.

Stylistic (or line) editing is the step after substantive editing and before copy editing. A stylistic editor will

  • reduce redundancies
  • clarify meaning
  • eliminate jargon
  • tighten or improve the flow of language

Always mindful of your objectives, we identify and maintain the tone, voice, and style of your copy while working with your words to ensure its readability and clarity — essential elements of writing that captures interest.

“[Your] thorough and detailed investigation of the first document [you] edited for us yielded excellent feedback.”
